1. Introduction

These terms govern your use of octarr.com and members.octarr.com (together, "the website"), operated by Wegotthis BV, trading as OCTARR ("OCTARR", "we", "us"), Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 65690133, VAT NL856216550B01. By using the website you agree to these terms.

When you buy something from us, our terms of sale also apply. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal data.

2. About OCTARR

OCTARR is a creative studio. We research exceptional objects with a story and invite contemporary artists and artisans to create new work in response to them.

OCTARR is not an investment platform or financial service, not a securities exchange or trading facility, and not a provider of financial, investment or legal advice. We make no promise that anything you collect will increase in value or produce any return.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy from us. You sign in with a link we email you (or a password you set yourself). You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for what happens through your account. Please tell us straight away at info@octarr.com if you think someone else has used it. Please keep the information you give us accurate and up to date.

4. Buying from us

What we sell, what it includes and doesn't include, prices, delivery, your 14-day right to withdraw and refunds are set out in our terms of sale. We sell only to private buyers.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the website (texts, images, designs and works) belongs to OCTARR or its licensors, including the artists. You may view it for personal use. What you may do with the image of a Collectible you have bought is set out in our terms of sale: you may show it for personal, non-commercial purposes, crediting the project and OCTARR.

6. Using the website fairly

Use the website only lawfully. Don't break the law, infringe anyone's rights, commit fraud, disrupt the website, try to get unauthorised access, collect other users' data, or pretend to be someone else.

7. Research and provenance

We research the objects in our projects carefully and share what we know, but scholarly views can change. We will disclose all known material information.

8. Passing on what you collect

Passing a Collectible on to someone else isn't possible yet. If it becomes possible, we will explain how in the terms of sale.

9. Our responsibility

We do our best to keep the website available and accurate, but we can't guarantee it will always work without interruption. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page applies from the date shown above. For a purchase, the terms of sale shown when you paid apply.

11. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing info@octarr.com. We may suspend or close an account for a serious breach of these terms or for legal reasons. Closing an account doesn't affect purchases you've made or your rights under the terms of sale.

12. Law

Dutch law applies.
